Free and airy, high above the Norwegian westland fjords, small, sunny, fertile farms cling to steep mountain sides. These small farms are still run according to traditional methods, with horses and self-made tools. In close interaction with nature and the cycles of the seasons, the small farmers look after the land, animals, crafts and cooking.
