A young woman, Yassandra Barrios, emerges as a leader on her island (just off the coast of Colombia) to save the reef that's vital to its survival. She learns to dive, studies Marine Biology, and rallies the fishermen and other islanders to protect Tierra Bomba from international shipping and trawlers. She inspires those around her with a vision of a sustainable future for their island home.
