The Man of the Trees
Jean has a cosmic and visceral bond with nature, a call to it as the source of life. Guided by his inspiring muse, without selfishness and expectations, he plants oak seeds, acorns, trees… where there was nothing before, just for love… It is a gesture of love towards nature – exploited, raped and withered by "civilised" man; it is to her that the protagonist dedicates an entire existence with humility and transport.
