A succession battle erupts between Wakagashira Tetsuo Sakuragi (Yasukaze Motomiya) and Saiko-komon Kippei Hagiwara (Kazuyoshi Ozawa). Hagiwara's faction aligns with the Kanto-based Ichio Federation to block Sakuragi from becoming the third-generation boss. Targeted for assassination and detained by police, Sakuragi faces escalating conflict. The feud claims lives, including members of Hidetoshi Kaji's (Hitoshi Ozawa) Koga Family.
