The film tells the story of Cai Wanjin, a teacher who is frustrated with his career, helping Huang Dengyu, a student who is looked down upon by everyone, to spend an irreplaceable and precious journey in his senior year of high school. They illuminate each other's lives, and both fiund the meaning of persistence in adversity and going against the wind.
