This unfolds two different social classes in life-lower class and upper class. Even though a lower-class athlete would be assumed to work harder to ensure a better future for himself, that would be incorrect. In reality, it is the upper-class athlete whose relationship with his father gives him motive to work towards becoming independent and proving the stereotypes wrong. The upper-class and lower-class athletes clash over a manipulative female.
