A struggling actor named Marvin Townsend is failing to secure any roles to pay the bills, so enlists help from a mysterious organisation to make him more confident. Suddenly, 10 years pass, and he has zero recollection of any of it. The process worked, just not as intended, his 'confident' side is a separate identity he cannot control.
