Frede Rasmussen is a 79-year old man from rural Lolland who has decided, late in life, to seek love as an openly gay man. Having spent decades largely alone and outside the LGBT+ community, Frede steps into the unfamiliar world of modern dating with help from local queer support groups. From creating a dating profile to placing personal ads and going on hopeful yet awkward dates, the documentary tenderly captures his vulnerability, humor, and resilience.
