Bogdan, at the request of his wife Wiktoria’s therapist, agrees to help her organise a birthday party for their deceased son – a gesture intended to help her come to terms with her loss. Weighed down by his own unresolved grief, Bogdan himself sees that he’s gradually losing the strength to support his wife.
