Lucy is a people-pleasing writer-photographer who exists in a timid state of inertia while her dreams of being an artist remain just out of reach. During her teeth cleaning with the mysterious yet heavily advertised Big Smiles Dentistry, Lucy's uncertain boundaries for polite, socially-acceptable behavior repeatedly put her perpetual avoidance to the test.
