Dr Charles Reed, a respected clinical psychologist whose work with vulnerable young men is thrown into turmoil after an emergency call from a teenage patient. The phone call draws him into an increasingly disturbing mystery, in which Reed is forced to confront questions of truth, responsibility and the limits of reason.
