“Because of the Tigers” explores the history, memories, and lasting impact of Bentonville High School football through the people who experienced it firsthand. From the old Tiger Stadium and the traditions built around it to the players, coaches, families, and community members who made those moments meaningful, the documentary examines how football became more than a game, it became part of Bentonville’s identity. Through archival footage, personal stories, and reflections from those who lived it, “Because of the Tigers” looks back at a changing Bentonville and asks what remains when the stadium lights go dark. It is a story about community, tradition, growing up, and the places and people that shape who we become.
