It mainly tells the story of the great monk Ji Gong/Dao Ji of Lingyin Temple and the monk Guang Ming who traveled around the world during the Great Song Dynasty. They were invited to go to Taiping Town to do things and pray for the people on the way. But it is a story of constant adventures, punishing evil and promoting good and eliminating harm for the people.
