In the Round Kingdom, Prince Emanuel lives with the nickname Bečka, which he did not get by chance. His greatest passion is food. The queen decides to marry the prince. The chubby princess Emilka is presented to him as a bride, but Prince Bečka falls in love with the completely slim princess Anna. Emilka cannot let this go and uses magic to turn Anna into a budgie, a small bird. The prince mourns for his beloved princess, does not eat and loses weight.
