Abhinav Sunder Nayak, an Indian film director and editor renowned for his work in Malayalam and Tamil cinema, gained recognition for directing, co-writing, and co-editing the acclaimed Malayalam film "Mukundan Unni Associates." Before this, he edited and directed various short films, serving as an assistant director to Vineeth Sreenivasan for "Thira" (2013). His feature film debut was the Tamil-Malayalam bilingual "Vaayai Moodi Pesavum" (2014), earning praise for his flawless editing. Abhinav continued his successful editing career, contributing to films like "You too Brutus" (2015), "Uriyadi" (2016), "Aanandam" (2016), "Kurangu Bommai" (2017), and "Godha" (2017). Beyond editing, he crafted trailers for notable films such as "Thira" (2013), "Oru Vadakkan Selfie" (2015), and "Njandukalude Naattil Oridavela" (2017). In 2022, Abhinav made his directorial debut with "Mukundan Unni Associates," co-writing and co-editing alongside Vimal Gopalakrishnan and Nidhin Raj Arol. The film, starring Vineeth Sreenivasan, received positive reviews and moderate box-office success. The following year, Abhinav expressed interest in a sequel and is currently editing Althaf Salim's film "Odum Kuthira Chadum Kuthira."
