Michael Stadnik is a documentary filmmaker and cinematographer with German-Ukrainian roots. His work focuses on political and social upheavals, particularly Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine and its impact on the civilian population. Stadnik studied theater, film, and media studies at Goethe University Frankfurt and at Aberystwyth University (UK), graduating with a Master of Arts (with honors). He has been a freelance filmmaker since 2016.
