Jordan Lisi



Jordan Lisi is a filmmaker based in Brooklyn, New York. His film 12 And More Omissions (2024) screened and won awards internationally at festivals in Italy, Germany, and Japan, as well as domestically in New York and Los Angeles, and was dubbed "a tough jewel of indie cinema" by writer/director Andrew Bujalski, an "astonishing debut" by screenwriter Pamela Katz, and an "excellent film" by Peter Rinaldi, the host of Filmmaker Magazine's Back To One Podcast. ​As a 1st Assistant Director, he has worked on film and video projects which have premiered at major festivals including Odense Film Festival, The Tribeca Festival, and Flickers Rhode Island Film Festival; prestigious venues including The Angelika Film Center (NYC), TCL Chinese Theater (LA), and Museum of the Moving Image (NYC); as well on National Television, The Criterion Channel, Nowness, and more. In post-production, he has edited, post supervised, and consulted on video campaigns for major brands and clients, including two Webby Award-winning video campaigns. As a teaching artist, Lisi instructs documentary filmmaking workshops for the award-winning non profit Educational Video Center, as well as for Downtown Community Television Center, New York City's preeminent community of and for documentary film. Lisi's work as a director explores themes of loneliness and alienation in contemporary society and aims to explore new possibilities within the medium of the moving image.
