She was a former member of the group Sakki no Onnanoko, under the name "Hazuki Mao" (葉月まお). She joined Sakki no Onnanoko in May 2019 and graduated on February 28, 2020. Miiko is Yuzuki's debut role as a voiceover artist. She became a member of HiBiKi as of April 26, 2020, when it was announced that she will voice Miiko.
