Joshua K. Carpenter, Founder of Global Content, is an entrepreneur, educator, and entertainment executive with more than a decade of acquisitions and sales experience, having licensed 650+ Movies & TV titles into the global marketplace. Across limited theatricals, television networks, home entertainment, and streaming platforms, Joshua has been dedicated to licensing diverse content-from first-time filmmakers with micro and low budgets to seasoned, award-winning filmmakers with star-powered casts and budgets currently up to $20M. Since September 2022 at Global Content, Joshua has been dedicated to bringing value to clients through consulting, coaching, negotiating, and licensing content with TV networks, streaming platforms, FAST channels, distributors, and filmmakers. For nine years, from September 2013 to September 2022, as Head of Global Acquisition & Sales, Joshua negotiated and acquired over 250 titles, overseeing Green Apple Entertainment's diverse film portfolio and scaling it from 100 to 400+ titles for distribution across its network and platform partners, linear FAST channel, and On-Demand app, GAGO. His daily responsibilities included managing account relations, metadata oversight, content optimization, and leading artwork creation. Joshua also represented the company at film markets and served as a guest speaker, panelist, panel host, and award presenter at film festivals. With the launch of a new production division in 2020, he served as Associate Producer for Green Apple Pictures originals. Joshua began his career in the film industry at AMG Films as National Sales Director from February 2011 to February 2012, where he licensed the Public Performance rights to the $15M-budget animated film The Lion of Judah.
