Aaron Pratama is a young writer & director based in Jakarta, Indonesia. He studied film at the Jakarta Institute of Arts. Where he creates various types of short films, experimenting with different issues and storytelling styles. His first debut short film ‘Joki’ (2022) won “Best Short Film” & “Best Director” at Jogja Film Academy Short Film Festival 2022 and got selected into part of Road to Jakarta Film Week 2023. His latest short film that currently on distribution ‘Mikrokosmos’ got selected at Minikino Film Week 2024 on Toast your shorts program part of the short film market session, where he had the opportunity to introduce it to the programmers from international festivals such as Busan International Short Film Festival, Kurzfilmtage Hamburg, and Bogo Shorts.
