Hugo R.A. Morris is a British visual effects producer at Wētā FX. Originally from the United Kingdom, he joined Wētā FX in 2011, beginning his journey at the renowned Wellington-based visual effects company as part of the production team and later advancing into producer-level roles. Morris's early work at Wētā FX included contributions to The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012), where he started in the production department. Over time, he developed expertise across the visual effects pipeline, from production coordination to managing full visual effects production workflows. Among his visual effects producer credits are Black Adam (2022), a superhero action film, The Tomorrow War (2021) and Predator: Badlands (2025). In earlier work, he held production management roles on films including Gemini Man (2019) and Terminator: Dark Fate (2019), as well as visual effects production management roles on Rampage (2018) and Ad Astra (2019). His credits also include involvement in War for the Planet of the Apes (2017).
