Liu Rong graduated from the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. From September 1999 to July 2002, she studied as a graduate student at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. Since July 2006, she has served as director and general manager of Dadi Times. In March 2009 she has also served as the executive director of Nanhai Holdings Co., Ltd.
