Emma Okello is a Ugandan filmmaker and director, best known for his psychological thriller Reverie (2025), starring Akena Godfrey. Born in Kampala in 2001, he began his filmmaking journey in 2019 as a self-taught videographer using only his mobile phone. He founded Phanuel ActM, an independent production company, through which he produced acclaimed shorts like Hypochondriac (2024) and Reverie (2025), both nominated at the Uganda Film Festival. Reverie was also invited to the New York Tri-State International Film Festival. Emma is celebrated for his unique storytelling style that blends evocative visuals with psychological depth
