Franklin Lee (he/him) is a Vancouver-based artist and filmmaker who is interested in creating narrative storytelling with a leading passion for emotional resonance. His work starts with gathering personal stories from his family as well as exploring the form of cinema as a piece of tool, to capture a moment to be recalled emotionally and spiritually. Within his aesthetic principle, Lee strives for an exploration towards cinema as a tool of preservation and embalming time, revealing a liminal space between the past and the present.
