Aleksandra Nagorna

Aleksandra is a Ukrainian-American violinist, music producer, orchestrator, and composer for film, theater, video games, and various ensembles. Her music draws from a wide range of influences blending classical orchestral traditions, Ukrainian folk music, film soundtracks, Americana, and electronic dance styles. Aleksandra has had the pleasure of studying composition and orchestration under Conrad Pope, Dr. Norman Ludwin, and Mikolai Stroinski during her time at the Film Scoring Academy of Europe. Her Master's thesis focused on writing music for dramatic non-musical theatre, an approach she applied composing a 70 minute orchestral-blues-dubstep soundtrack for the George Daily Auditorium's stage production of "The Hobbit." Most recently, she composed the soundtrack for William Rock's feature-length film adaptation of Susan Glaspell's short story: "A Jury of Her Peers."
