Born in Faro, Rui Inácio is a filmmaker with a particular focus on documentary. His artistic practice stems from a desire to explore the memories and gestures that shape the cultural identity of places and people. Following the completion of his Master's degree in 'Photography and Cinema – Specializing in Documentary and Experimental Film' at ESMAD in Vila do Conde, and after a year of filming, he presents his debut film: Lá Pró Pé do Fim (2025). The film is an intimate and ethnographic portrait of the community living in Culatra, an island in the heart of the Ria Formosa.
