
Felix Lenz is a research-led artist, director, and producer based in Vienna. Their work investigates the geopolitical, ecological, and technological dimensions of image- and knowledge-making practices, as well as their response-abilities. Lenz's films and mixed-media installations have been shown internationally, including the Vienna International Film Festival, Beijing Art and Technology Biennale, London Design Biennale, Istanbul Design Biennale, Ars Electronica Festival, Digital Art Festival Zurich, Vienna Shorts, Hyundai Motor Studio Busan, Biennale Warszawa, and Vienna Biennale, and are part of the permanent collection of the Museum of Applied Arts Vienna. In 2024, they received the Outstanding Artist Award by the Austrian Ministry of Arts and Culture. In 2025, Lenz represented Austria at the 24th Triennale Milano International Exhibition. They have held lectures and workshops at the Royal College of Art, University of British Columbia, Humboldt University Berlin, Universidad de Buenos Aires, and the University of Applied Arts Vienna, where they also hold a master’s degree.
