Evan Widjaja is a cellist and emerging composer currently studying at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School (VCASS). He studies cello with Josephine Vains and composition with Stefan Cassomenos. His compositional work has been recognised with the David Henkel Composition Award and a Certificate of Merit Membership from the Music Arrangers Guild of Australia. Evan has also participated in the Juilliard Summer Composition Program, where he undertook advanced compositional study with leading international faculty.
