Rob Stefano (born in 1998 in Ten Boer, Netherlands) is a Dutch musician and audio engineer, best known as the bassist and backing vocalist for the Groningen-based punk/boyband TAXITAXI. Within the band, he performs under his lively alter ego 'Bobby Baloney'. Stefano initially made his mark in the local indie music scene, contributing guitar and keyboards to Fred Goverde's solo project. Seeking an escape from the pressures of musical perfectionism, he co-founded TAXITAXI in 2022 alongside Goverde and drummer Rob Schoenmakers. Embracing raw energy, high-tempo punk rock, and a playful attitude, the trio quickly built a reputation for explosive live performances. Donning matching mechanic overalls, Stefano has performed extensively across major Dutch showcase festivals, including Popronde and Eurosonic Noorderslag (ESNS). Beyond his live performances, he is also active as a studio audio engineer.
