Lorenzo Rincon
Lorenzo Rincon is a Franco-Colombian filmmaker whose work explores illusion, obsession, and the fragile boundaries between fantasy and reality. Influenced by his father’s background in architecture and his mother’s work in psychoanalysis, he creates dark, sensory worlds where spaces become extensions of his characters and where appearances conceal deeper desires. After graduating from CLCF in Paris in 2024, he directed his first short film, "The Cabinet of Desires", currently on the festival circuit and recipient of several awards, including distinctions at the Cannes Film Awards and the Independent Film Awards in Los Angeles. His cinema seeks to question what lies beneath appearances, combining meticulous visual construction with psychological depth and a fascination for the mysterious.
